Last night team Russia defeated Team QMJHL 4-3 in Game 1 of the 2019 CIBC Canada Russia Series. Moncton’s Alexander Khovanov each had 2 goals and 2 assists for Team Russia.

Derek Stephan was the hero in Arizona as the Coyotes beat the Oilers 3-2 in Overtime. Connor McDavid scored an absolute beauty of a goal going end to end and diving across the front of the net in the loss.
The Predators took a bite out of the Red Wings 6-1.
The Sens knocked off the Rangers 6-2.
