The Pictou County Atom A White Crushers picked up a big win over the Atom A Red Crushers, 4-0 yesterday at the Wellness Centre.

World Juniors:

Team Canada picked up a big 4-2 WIN over Team Finland in pre-tournament play at the World Juniors.
The tournament begins at 1pm on Boxing day when Canada takes on the US.

The Maple Leafs and Hurricanes combined for 14 goals in an afternoon thriller, the Hurricanes scored 3 goals in less than 2 minutes to erase a 3-0 deficit to go up 5-3 but Toronto came storming back to score 3 goals in less than 2 minutes to end up winning 8-6.

The Wild shut out the Flames 3-0.
The Bruins hammered the Capitals 7-3.
The Lightning shocked the Panthers 6-1.
The Blue Jackets squeaked by the Islanders 3-2.
The Flyers clipped the Rangers 5-1.
