Major Midgets:

The Weeks Major Midgets picked up a big 5-1 win over Steel Subaru last night, Landon Sim with a pair of goals in the victory.

Spengler Cup:

Team Canada is currently 2-0 in the Spengler Cup and are looking to make it to the Championship game, they play TPS Turku today in the Semi Finals, that puck drops at 10am.
Ambri-Piotta and Trinec will be playing in the other semi final game.

World Juniors:

Yesterday at the World Juniors,

Finland beat Kazakhstan 7-1.
USA defeated Russia 3-1.

Today is a huge day and the tournament is already on the line for Team Canada. They take on Germany at 10am. If Canada wins, they will sit tied with the USA for 1st in group B, if they lose they will be in last place.

Other games include, Sweden vs Kazakhstan. Switzerland vs Slovakia & The Czech Republic vs USA.

NBA:

It was a close one but the OKC Thunder defeated the Raptors by a single point. 98-97.

The Bengals defeated the Browns 33-23.
The 49ers win the division in a thrilling win over Seattle. 26-21 the final.

NHL:

The Blues downed the Jets 4-1.
The 1st overall pick, Jack Hughes scored the OT winner as the Devils top the Sens 4-3.
Chicago defeated Columbus 3-2 in a SO.
The Islanders tamed the Wild 3-1.
The Bruins got by the Sabres 3-2.
The Lightning beat the Red Wings 2-1.
The Panthers defeated the Canadiens 6-5.
The Stars doubled the Yotes 4-2.
