World Juniors:

Team Canada’s U18 Women’s hockey team finished with silver in the IIHF U18 WOMEN’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP after losing to the US in OT yesterday 2-1.

Germany defeated Kazakhstan 4-0 to take a 1-0 relegation series lead in the best of 3.
Russia eliminated Switzerland 3-1 to advance to the semi-finals.
Canada eliminated Slovakia 6-1 to advance to the semi-finals.
Finals upset and eliminated the USA 1-0 and will advance to the semi-finals.
Sweden hammered the Czech Republic 5-0 to advance.

Saturday is semi-finals day,

Russia will play Sweden.
Finland will face Canada.

The winners will play in the gold medal game on Sunday, the losers will play for bronze.

NHL:

Pierre-Luc Dubois was the hero for the Blue Jackets as they defeat the Bruins 2-1 in OT.
Jack Eichel scored in OT to lift the Sabres over the Oilers 3-2.
The Lightning beat the banged up Habs 2-1.
The Devils took down the Islanders 2-1.
Brent Burns scored the OT winner to lift the Sharks over the Penguins 3-2.
The Panthers doubled the Sens 6-3.
The Leafs beat the Jets by the same score.
The Flames stopped the Rangers 4-3.
The Yotes doubled the Ducks 4-2.
The Avalanche hammered the Blues 7-3.
The Canucks beat the Blackhawks 7-5.
