The Weeks Major Midgets picked up a thrilling OT win on Sunday 5-4 over South Shore. Lucas Canning’s second of the game was the winner.

MHL:

The Weeks Crushers were embarrassed in Amherst on Saturday, losing 6-0 to the Ramblers.

Bombers:

The Wearwell Bombers lost their fist game back to the rink, 7-3 to the Valley Wildcats.

Bantam A Subway Selects Take home Silver from the Subway cup going 3-1-1 for the weekend.

World Juniors:

Team Canada brought home the gold thanks to a late go-ahead goal by Akil Thomas to make it 4-3. They would hold on to defeat Russia in regulation to win their 3rd gold medal in the last 10 years.

Sweden would defeat Finland to win the Bronze.

NFL:

First round of the playoffs are over.

The Texans defeated the Bills on a last second field goal 22-19.
The Titans took down the Patriots 20-13.
The Vikings eliminated the Saints 26-20.
Seattle took out the Eagles 17-9.

NHL:

Washington rallied late yesterday afternoon, Lars Eller scored the winner in OT to defeat the Sharks 5-4.
Florida beat Pittsburgh 4-1.
Tampa took down Carolina 3-1.
Calgary defeated Minnesota 5-4 in a shootout.
Chicago doubled Detroit 4-2.
Anaheim defeated Nashville 5-4 in a shootout.
