The Weeks Crushers picked up another BIG win this weekend 2-1 over Valley. The Crushers are now in 2nd place in the division with a game in hand.
NSMMHL:
The Weeks Major Midgets picked up 2 big wins this weekend to eliminate Steel Subaru from the playoffs and advance to the next round, last night’s game 7 was a thriller with the Major Midgets winning 5-3.
NSFMMHL:
The Northern Subway Selects won 2 games this weekend to go up 2-0 in the series against the Bussey Auto Penguins. On Saturday they won 5-3 and on Sunday they picked up an 8-5 victory.

QMJHL:
The Moncton Wildcats have won their 12th game in a row, defeating the Mooseheads 5-1 last night.
The Seadogs defeated the Huskies 3-2.
Curling:
Manitoba’s Kerri Einarson has won the Canadian women’s curling championship. Einarson downed Ontario’s Rachel Homan 8-7 on Sunday in final of the Scotties Tournament of Hearts.
Also, a huge shoutout to Truro’s Karlee Burgess for winning the world junior women’s curling championship on Saturday. Karlee represented Canada on the Manitoba team skipped by Mackenzie Zacharias.
NBA:
The Raptors hammered the PAcers 127-81, this 46 point victory is the largest win in Raptors history.
The Milwaukee Bucks become the first team in the NBA to clinch a playoff spot with a 48-8 record. Earliest playoff clinch in NBA history.
NHL:
The Capitals take down the Penguins 5-3.
The Stars beat the Blackhawks 2-1.
Buffalo one upped Winnipeg 2-1.
The Islanders defeated the Sharks 4-1.
The Flames doubled the Red Wings 4-2.
The Blues beat the Wild 4-1.
Shea Theodore was the hero for Vegas as they beat the Ducks in OT 6-5.
The Oilers doubled the Kings 4-2.
