High School:

Congratulations to the North Nova Gryphons girls hockey team! They’re Division 1 hockey champions! They defeated Parkview 4-0 to win the NSSAF hockey banner! Well done.

MHL:

The game on Thursday, February 27th between the South Shore Lumberjacks and Weeks Crushers which was postponed, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 3rd at 7:30 p.m.
Speaking of the Crushers, they went 1-1 this weekend. They lost to Edmundston 4-2 but lit up Grand Falls 9-1.

NSMMHL:

The Weeks Major Midgets picked up a win on the road this weekend on Saturday 4-1 over the South Shore Mustangs, the Mustangs won on Sunday so the series is tied heading into game 3 this weekend at the Wellness Centre.

QMJHL:

Last night, Shawinigan took down the Mooseheads 8-3.
The Wildcats defeated Rimouski 3-1.
The Islanders beat the Sea dogs 6-2.

NBA:

The Denver Nuggets lit up the Raptors for 133 points last night winning 133-118.

NHL:

The Flyers took down the Rangers 5-3.
The Flames blanked the Panthers 3-0.
The Blue Jackets defeated the Canucks 5-3.
The Devils shut out the Ducks 3-0.
The Capitals beat the Wild 4-3.
The Kings upset the Golden Knights 4-1.
