If the NBA is able to make a return to play this season, they are modelling a 22-team format beginning on July 31 according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Wojnarowski adds that Oct. 12 is the proposed timeline for teams as the last possible date for an NBA Finals Game 7.

The Toronto Blue Jays were one of a number of clubs that made releases throughout its minor-league system over the past several days. According to Baseball America, among the 29 players cut by the organization was first baseman Kacy Clemens, son of former Jay and seven-time Cy Young Award winner Roger Clemens.

Former boxing champion Floyd Mayweather has offered to pay for George Floyd’s funeral and memorial services, and the family has accepted the offer.
Mayweather personally has been in touch with the family, according to Leonard Ellerbe, the CEO of Mayweather Promotions. He will handle costs for the funeral on June 9 in Floyd’s hometown of Houston, as well as other expenses.
