MHL:

The Truro Bearcats were victorious last night during the battle of mount Thom. The teams were close all game before the Bearcats pulled away late in the 3rd to win 5-3.
Evan Gallant, Logan Vande Meerakker (VAN-DER-ME-RACK-ER) and Maxime Grandmaison with the goals for the Crushers. They’re in action this Saturday against South Shore.

NSFMMHL:

The Northern Subway Selects play twice this weekend,

They take on the Edza West Reds at noon on Saturday and again on Sunday. Both games are at the Wellness Centre, stop by for some great hockey!

Junior B:
The Pictou County Scotians are in action this weekend as well, they head to Eskasoni to play the Eskasoni Junior Eagles on Sunday.

The Acadie Bathurst Titan will take on the Moncton Wildcats.
The Carlettetown Islanders will be in Halifax to battle the Mooseheads.

Thursday night football saw the Eagles upset the Packers 34-27.
