Howie Kendrick hit a go-ahead home run in the 7th inning as the Washington National stun the Houston Astros and win their first World Series title 6-2! They also became the first team to win the Fall Classic by winning 4 games on the road.

The Canadians defeated the Leafs 3-2 in Leo Fahey twilight League Hockey action held at the Westville Miners Sports Center on Monday evening,
Scoring for the Canadians were Natasha MacKenzie with two goals and Laura Fillier with one goal.
Debbie MacLean and Nicole Smith replied for the leafs.
Action continues this Monday at the Westville Sports center.
NBA:
The Raptors improve to 4-1 on the season, beating the Pistons 125-113.
MLS:
Toronto FC has advanced to the MLS cup after beating Atlanta 2-1 yesterday! The MLS Cup final is on Nov. 10 against the Seattle Sounders.
NHL:
The Canucks downed the Kings 5-3.
The Lightning and the Devils shot the lights out with the Lightning winning a thriller 7-6 in OT.
The Oilers stopped the Blue Jackets 4-1.
The Blues upped the Wild 2-1.
The Panthers needed OT to beat the Avalanche 4-3.
Brendan Gallagher played in his 500th game, he also scored 22 seconds into the game as the Canadiens beat the Coyotes 4-1.
