Maritime hockey league:

It was a tough loss on home ice for the Crushers, they lost 5-4 to Mirimachi.
There were two fights and Mirimachi scored 2 shorthanded goals to seal the win. The Crushers are back in action Monday against Amherst.

They picked up another big win 126-98 over the Knicks to iprove to 13-4 on the season.

The NLL Season kicks off tonight with a could of big games, the Colorado Mammoth will play the Saskatchewan Rush.
The Calgary ROughnecks will take on the Vancouver Warriors.

The Halifax Thunderbirds play their first game at home next week against the New York Riptide.
