PCMHL:
The Atom AA Crushers White team played their counter parts the Crushers Red team in the championship game at the Allan Sullivan Memorial Tournament in Sydney NS. After a player injury for the White team the game became more of a tribute for their hurt player Nicholas MacKenzie who was taken off the ice by ambulance. After every goal the team would skate to their bench and touch Nick’s jersey, which they had hanging on the bench for luck. The White team went on to win 6-3 and could be heard chanting “for Nick” as they skated around the Cape Breton County Arena with the Championship banner. Good news, Nick is ok and hoping to be back with the team as soon as possible. Congrats team on a heartfelt win!
