The Weeks Jr ‘A’ Crushers picked up a HUGE WIN last night over the Nationally ranked Summerside Western Capitals, 2-0. Jake Martin and Dallas Farrell with the goals, Andrew MacLeod slammed the door with a 40 save shut out! The Crushers are back in action this Saturday when they take on the Valley Wildcats.

Leo Fahey:

The Bruins and Leafs played to a 2-2 tie in Leo Fahey Twilight hockey this week held at the Westville Miners Sports Center.
Bethany Martin and Debbie MacLean scored for the Bruins
Meredith Roossinch and Juanita MacKeigan replied for the Leafs.

Midget C:

Stellarton Royals host the Westville Miners in Midget C action – pucks drops at 7pm from the Hector Arena in Pictou.

NHL:

The Sabres defeated the Preds 4-3.
Tampa Bay upset the Bruins 3-2.
The Islanders clipped the Panthers 3-1.
The Penguins got the OT winner from Rush to beat the Blue Jackets 1-0.
The Red Wings smoked the Jets 5-2.
The Blues doubled the Golden Knights 4-2.
The Wild outscored the Oilers 6-5..
The Flames doubled the LEafs 4-2.
The Yotes took a bite out of Chicago 5-2.
Vancouver shut out the Hurricanes in OT thanks to Petterson 1-0.
The Kings one upped the Ducks 2-1.
The Rangers doubled the Sharks 6-3.
