The Northern Subway Selects Midget AAA team was in action on Saturday,
They defeated the East Hants Bussey Penguins 5-3.

In Midget A Female Hockey, 2 big wins over the weekend for the Fundy Highland team!
They defeated the Metro East Inferno 3-0 and 5-0.

The Subway Selects PeeWee AA team iced Metro East Inferno two games to zip in the final weekend of league play before the Christmas Break.
The won 3-2 on Saturday and 2-1 on Sunday! Play resumes for the PeeWee AA’s on January 4th.

World Juniors:

Team Canada’s 23 man roster has been announced, including Truro’s Jared McIssac and potential 1st overall pick in this years NHL draft, Alexis Lafrenière.
Team Canada faces off against Team Finland in pre-tournament play this afternoon at 12:30.

NBA:

The Toronto Raptors made history last night, coming back from a 30 point deficit to defeat the Mavericks 110-107. It was the largest comeback in franchise history.
