The Weeks Crushers took a 4-1 lead into the 3rd period against Grand Falls last night at the Wellness Center. Grand falls would tie the game in the 3rd period before Craig Ryan would score his 2nd of the game with under 2 minutes left to give the Crushers a 5-4 victory.

NSJHL:

The Scotians lost their second game in a row last night 8-5 to the Strait Pirates. This is the Scotians second loss in as many nights, yesterday they dropped a game to the JR Miners 12-0.

QMJHL:

The Ryoun Noranda Huskies got the best of the Cape Breton Eagles, defeating them 3-2.

NHL:

Victor Olofsson was the hero for the Sabres as they took down the Blue Jackets in OT 4-3.
The Stars defeated the Leafs 3-2.
The Lightning struck the Oilers 3-1.
The Flyers tripled the Panthers 6-2.
The Devils beat the Red Wings 4-1.
The Sens one upped the Coyotes 3-2.
Nashville hammered the Islanders 5-0.
The Rangers defeated the Wild in a shootout 4-3.
The Caps downed the Avs 3-2.
Jonathan Marchessault got the OT winner for the Golden Knights as they defeated the Blues 6-5.
The Flames hammered the Ducks 6-0.
