PCMHL:
The Peewee AAA Crushers were in Cole Harbour last weekend to compete in the 37th Annual Joe Lamontagne Memorial Tournament.
They beat Dartmouth 4-2 in the first game, dropped the second to the East Hants Penguins and picked up a 2-1 win in the last game of the round robin. In the Semi Finals they beat Yarmouth 5-3 and in the finals they got their revenge against the Penguins 2-1 to win the tournament!
The Crushers start the Provincial Peewee AAA championship in Halifax this Thursday at 2:00 pm vs the TASA Ducks.

Playoffs are in full swing..
The Campbellton Tigers picked up a big win over the Edmondston Blizzard to take a 2-1 series lead.
Former Crusher Dylan Riley had 2 goals and an apple as The Summerside Western Capitals defeated the Aces 5-1 to take a 2-0 series lead.
The Amherst Ramblers are back in the series defeating the Lunberjacks 5-2. South Shore still leads that series 2-1.
The Yarmouth Mariners have pushed the Truro Bearcats to the brink of elimination, defeating them 3-2 in OT yesterday to hold a 3-0 series lead.
NHL:

The Bruins hammered the Islanders 5-0.
The Red Wings toppled the Rangers 3-2.
The Hurricanes beat the Penguins in a shootout 3-2.
The Blues scored a touchdown on the Oilers winning 7-2. (Congratulations to St. Louis Blues forward Jaden Schwartz on picking up his 4th career hat-trick!)
The Predators blanked the Leafs 3-0.
The Avalanche defeated the Wild 3-1.
The Stars doubled the Panthers 4-2.
The Flames beat the Blue Jackets by the same score 4-2.
The Montreal Canadiens defeated the Flyers 3-1.
