NHL:
Wow, what a night for hockey.
The Vegas Golden Knights had a 3 goal lead half-way through the 3rd period but the sharks came roaring back with 4 goals in less than 5 minutes to take a 4-3 lead late in the 3rd but Jonathan Marchessault would tie it up with just seconds remaining to send the game into OT where Barclay Goodrow would score and send the Sharks to the semifinals with a 5-4 OT win.
The Toronto Maple Leafs had a chance to move on to the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs for the first time in 15 years against the Bruins who were trying to get there for the 7th time in the last 11.
The Bruins came out hot scoring two goals late in the 1st, but the Leafs answered in the second when John Tavares sniped home his 2nd of the playoffs but it was not to be. The Bruins would add 3 goals in the 3rd period to eliminate the Leafs and advance to the semifinals.
