Local Ball:

The Stellarton and Area Minor Girls Softball Association home of the Subway Stingers will be having their second registration for the 2019 Season on Saturday May 25th from 9 am – 1 pm upstairs at the Dorrington Softball Complex Clubhouse at 175B North Foord Street Stellarton The Stingers are also looking for players birth years 2007, 2008 and 2009 to tryout for the 2019 Subway Stingers U-12 Rep Team. To register your name for the tryouts or for further information on this weekends registration email stellartonstingers@hotmail.com

World Hockey Championship:

The Quarterfinals begin today at the IIHF  World Hockey Championship.
Team Canada takes on Switzerland.
Russia takes on the USA.
Finland and Sweden do battle.
Czech Republic tangle with Germany.

Memorial Cup:

Tha Halifax Mooseheads lost to the QMJHL Champion Huskies last night but they still clinched a spot in the Memorial Cup finals!
The Rouyn Noranda Huskies will play the Guelph Storm on Saturday to see who will play the Mooseheads in the final.

MLB:

The Red Sox won in extras against the Jays. Michael Chavis hit a bomb in the 13th inning to lift the Sox over the Jays 6-5.

NHL:

The Stanley Cup Finals begin next Monday. Still 4 more nights without hockey.
