Women’s Softball:

Two games were played in the Leo Fahey Ladies twilight softball League on Monday evening at the Albion Field in Stellarton, In the first game the Cardinals defeated the Yankees 7-5. In game 2, The Blue Jays notched their first win of the season with a hard fought 6-3 win over the Orioles.

Riverside:

The IWK 250 Super Race Weekend starts tomorrow at Riverside with a Matt Minglewood tailgate party, Tomorrow is the Henry AUTOPRO Sportsman 100 & The Maritime Legengs Challenge 50. The 20th is the big IWK 250 PRo Stock Race with NASCAR’s Kenny Wallace.

MLB:

Teoscar Hernandez cranked a 441 home run last night helping the Blue Jays beat the Red Sox 10-4.

CFL:

Week 6 kicks off tomorrow night in B.C where the Visiting Argos will try and hand the Lions another loss on the season.
