Scott Weeks Celebrity Golf Tournament:

One of the premiere events in Atlantic Canada is gearing up for it’s 25th year. The Scott Weeks Celebrity Golf Tournament raises money for minor hockey in our community kicks off from Abercrombie Golf Club.
Dave “Tiger” Williams is our guest this year. Tiger is the most penalized man to ever lace up his skates in the NHL. He played for the Leafs, Canucks, Kings, Red Wings and Whalers. Appearing in the 1981 NHL All Star Game and scoring 513 points in 962 games. He will be joining us later this morning.

MLB:

The Red Sox scored in 3 straight innings including 2 in the 4th to lift them to a 5-4 win over the Blue Jays.

MLS:

Toronto FC picked up a win over the New York Red Bulls 3-1. 

Hockey:

Jaromír Jágr has signed himself to a one-year contract extension, since he owns the team he plays on. That would make him 48 years old at the end of next season.
