Riverside:
Cassius Clark Driving the King Racing team #13 car, owned by Rollie MacDonald captured the checkered flag in convincing fashion Saturday night in the IWK 250 at Riverside International Speedway in James River.
With the IWK 250 win, he also became the first driver to capture the three Maritime 250-lap events, which include the Toromont Cat 250 and the Speedway 660 Pro Stock 250.
Bluenose Baseball:
Yesterday in Nova Scotia Bluenose league action, the New Glasgow Sullivan Fuels Bantam AA’s defeated Bridgewater Bulldogs 4-1. Jared Langille, Ashton Royea, and Lane Lochead shared mound duties for the Fuel giving up three hits for the win. Gage Connors, Tanner Steele, Carter Dickson, Brennan Dalton, and Cory MacGillivray each collected hits for the winners.

In baseball, the Detroit Tigers racked up 12 hits to upend the Jays 4-3.

In football, the Saskatchewan Rough Riders beat the BC Lions 38-25.
The Blue Bombers embarassed the Red Blacks 31-1
