Niklas Kronwall has announced his retirement from professional hockey at the age of 38 and will join the Red Wings front off as Advisor to the General Manager.Kronwall played parts of the 16 NHL seasons, all with the Detroit Red Wings, recording 83 goals and 349 assists in 953 games. He helped lead the Red Wings to the Stanley Cup in 2008.Kronwall represented Team Sweden 🇸🇪 on a number of occasions, winning both World Championship and Olympic Gold in 2006 and World Championship Silver in 2003.
