NHL:
Pre-season hockey last night saw the Sabres defeat the Penguins 5-4 in OT.
The Oilers blanked the Jets 2-0.
Calgary won once, 4-3 and Vancouver won 3-2 in OT as the squads split to play 2 games yesterday.
The Canadiens picked up a 4-2 win over the Devils.
The NHLPA announced on Monday that the union declined to exercise its right to re-open the Collective Bargaining Agreement, effectively extending it by two seasons. Meaning there won’t be a lockout until at least 2022.
NFL:
Monday night football saw Odell Beckham Jr put on a clinic, he caught 6 passes for 161 yards and a touchdown to lead the Browns in manhandling the Jets 23-3.
