StFX X-Men hockey opens up the regular season today with a game against Dalhousie, puck drops at 7pm in Halifax.

MHL:

The Weeks Crushers are in action tomorrow night against the rival Truro Bearcats. Puck drops at 7pm from the Wellness Centre.

MLB:

The Baltimore Orioles started out strong and didn’t look back, scoring 3 in the first inning on route to an 11-4 thumping of the Blue Jays.

NHL:

In NHL preseason..

The Rangers beat the Islanders 3-1.
The Panthers double up the Lightning 6-3.
The Coyotes got by the Oilers 4-2.
The Flames blanked the Jets 2-0.

In other news, Toronto Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthewes is due in court today after he was charged with disorderly conduct after he allegedly pulled down his pants and grabbed his behind in front of a female guard in Scottsdale Arizona after he tried to enter her locked security car. The security footage captured Matthews walking to an elevator with his pants still around his ankles.
If found guilty of the disorderly conduct charge, Matthews could face up to six months in jail and up to a $2,500 fine… but he won’t.
