MHL:

The Crushers picked up a big win on the road last night. They defeated division rivals Truro 3-2.
Kevin Mason, Jake Martin and Keenan Gillis with the goals, Ewan MacDonald made 35 saves in the win.
The Crushers are in South Shore tonight to battle the Lumberjacks. If they win tonight they’ll jump into second place in the division.

HS:

Congratulations to the North Nova Gryphons girls hockey team who captured the regional banner this week and are now Division 1 Champions!!  Sarah Fraser scored the 2OT goal today to help secure the win, the Gryphons will now be heading to provincials!

LEO FAHEY:

The Bruins defeated the Leafs 2-1 this week in Leo Fahey Twilight Hockey action held at the Westville Miners Sports Center.
Meredith Roossinch and Kelly Young tallied for the Bruins. Samantha Williams replied for the Leafs.

NSJHL:

The Pictou County Scotians are in action tonight, they take on Eskasoni, the puck drops from the Wellness Centre at 7pm tonight!

NHL:

The Rangers doubled the Blackhawks 6-3.
The Bruins got an OT winner from David Pasternak to defeat the Oilers 2-1.
The Stars one upped the Coyotes 3-2.
The Panthers defeated the Ducks 4-1.
The Avalanche beat the Islanders 3-1.
The Wild beat the Canucks 4-3 in a shootout.
