NHL:

Whelp, there was supposed to be 4 games yesterday but the ‘early’ game between the Lightning and Blue Jackets went for 8 periods! The Lightning finally got the game winner from Brayden Point 10 minutes into the 5th OT to give the Bolts a 1-0 series lead over the Blue Jackets. Joonas Korpisalo made 85 saves in the loss to break the previous NHL record.

In the other games,

The Flames beat the Stars 3-2 and take a 1-0 series lead.
The Golden Knights took down Chicago to take a 1-0 series lead.

That postponed Boston vs Carolina game will begin at 1pm this afternoon.
