The Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL) has announced that the start of the 2020-21 regular season will be moved from October 2nd to October 30th
With the modified start date, the Board voted for a 44-game schedule that runs through the end of March. Further details on the schedule will be released at a later date.
MLB:
The Mariners defeated the Blue Jays 3-2.
NBA:
The Nuggets and Jazz came down to the wire with Denver coming out on top 80-78 to advance to the next round of the playoffs.
NHL:
The Flyers got the OT winner from Scott Laughton to defeat the Islanders 4-3 and keep the series going. The Islander still hold a 3-2 series lead.
Thatcher Demko was an absolute rock in net for Vancouver, making 42 saves in his first playoff start to lift the Canucks to a 2-1 win. Vegas still leads the best of 7 series 3-2.
