Hockey:
Yesterday, Hockey Nova Scotia announced that each team must have a safety rep for the upcoming hockey season and players must fill out a confidential self-evaluation. This means that before any practices or scrimmages, the players must bring a confidential self-evaluation to their teams Saftey Rep. The Saftey Rep will then log the self-evaluation and determine if the player can play. If a player forgets their self-evaluation, they will not be allowed to take the ice.
MLB:
That’s it for the Toronto Blue Jays, they were smoked by the Rays 8-2 last night. With the loss, the Rays will advance to the ALCS and the Blue Jays are eliminated from the post season.
NBA:
In game 1 of the NBA Finals, the Lakers took down the Heat 116-98.
Anthony Davis lead the way with 34 points in the win.
NFL:
Thursday night football will see the 0-3 Broncos vs the 0-3 Jets. The good thing about this game is that at LEAST one of these teams is going to have a win by the end of the night.
NHL:
The New York Rangers have bought out the contract of star goaltender Henrik Lundqvist on Wednesday, parting ways with one of their greatest players in franchise history after 15 mostly spectacular seasons.
