Junior “A”:

The Weeks Crushers defeated the Truro Bearcats in OT last night 5-4. Matt Burdern with the OT winner.
The Crushers wrap up the pre-season with a pair of games this week, they take on Truro again on Thursday and South Shore on Saturday. Only 200 tickets are available for the games.

NSU18:

The Weeks U18 Majors lost to Cape Breton on the Weekend 5-2. Andyn Furmidge scored both goals for the Majors.

MLB:

The Dodgers came back in the series to defeat Atlanta 4-3 in game 7 to advance to the World Series!
Los Angeles vs Tampa Bay. Both cities have already won a major Championship this year, L.A has the NBA title and Tampa Bay has the Stanley Cup, the World Series would be the sports city tie breaker.

NFL:

A full slate of games last night,
The Steelers took down the Browns 38-7 to improve their record to 5-0.
The Broncos defeated the Patriots 18-12.
The Colts picked up a win over the Bengals 31-27.
The Buccaneers handed the Packers their first loss of the season, defeating them 38-10.
