Democratic candidate Joe Biden has won the U.S. presidential election after he secured enough electoral college votes on Saturday. President Donald Trump is still contesting some states’ results, but he’s already lost two legal fights, and Biden is now preparing to take over the U-S Administration.
Biden won the state of Pennsylvania, surpassing the 270 electoral vote threshold to take the White House and become the 46th president of the United States. Biden also carried Arizona, Wisconsin and Michigan on his path to the presidency, flipping states that Trump won in 2016.
Biden has won more votes than any other President in U-S history, mostly because voter turn-out was so huge this year for both sides. AJ will have the latest with reaction and next steps for Biden on Monday morning from the Stingray Newsroom.
