A public inquiry into Nova Scotia’s mass shooting has released a series of four short videos showing the spouse of the killer re-enacting for R-C-M-P what happened on the first night of the Rampage.
Lisa Banfield accompanied Mounties in Portapique on October 23rd, 2020 to describe what happened on the first night of the rampage.
The couple got into an argument over their 20th anniversary plans.
In the video, Banfield’s voice is shaky, and she sobs as she explains how the gunman attacked her in their Portapique home, which he set on fire.
One person is dead and another injured following a two-vehicle collision in Annapolis Valley Tuesday afternoon.
R-C-M-P say a van collided with a dump truck on Highway 12 in South Alton.
The 78-year-old woman who was a front seat passenger in the van died at
the scene, and a 52-year-old man who was a rear seat passenger in the van suffered life-threatening injuries.
The drivers of both vehicles were not injured.
