Robichaud says because Nicole is being closely followed by a winter storm system, Newfoundland and Labrador may see freezing rain or snow Saturday night into Sunday morning.
The freezing rain and snow may also affect the northeastern region of Quebec.

The health authority says it has already been in contact with those who may have been directly exposed to the person so they can receive antibiotics as a precaution to prevent the spread of the virus.
It says bacterial meningitis is not spread through casual contact but through activities such as kissing and sharing food and drinks — and there is there is no indication of increased risk to the public or university community.
