New Glasgow Regional Police say that a 36-year-old man who was reported missing from New Glasgow on Sunday has been found safe this morning by police.
New Glasgow Regional Police are thanking the public for its assistance with postings and sharing of information throughout social media and the community.
New Glasgow Regional Police say they are still investigating, but they have located a truck that was reported stolen from the driveway of a home on High Street in Trenton.
Police received the report on Saturday, and turned to the public shortly after 9am for help in locating the truck.
By noon, New Glasgow Regional Police confirmed that the truck had been located in Stellarton.
Police have determined that the theft took place between late Friday and early Saturday.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact New Glasgow Regional Police or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers.
A pilot program that supports younger Nova Scotia adults with disabilities to move from nursing homes to apartments is finishing up successfully.
The first four roommates from nursing homes are either moved into, or are moving into their renovated apartments later this month, with around-the-clock care.

Chase says the team stood down after the aircraft landed safely.
