A man in the Bahamas recently discovered a message in a bottle that was tossed into the ocean by a group of Nova Scotia fishermen more than six years ago.

The note included geographic co-ordinates and six names, which Miller used to find the fishing crew, all of whom live in Nova Scotia’s Yarmouth or Shelburne counties.
Miller says he learned the men were on their way back from cod fishing in July 2016 when they dropped the bottle in the waters between Georges Bank and Browns Bank of Nova Scotia’s southwest coast.
