Gasoline and diesel prices both went down overnight in Nova Scotia. Gasoline prices went down by 1.6 cents per litre, putting the minimum pump price for regular self serve gasoline at 152.4 cents per litre in the local area.
Diesel prices decreased by 1.4 cents per litre, putting the minimum pump price for diesel at 137.4 cents per litre locally.
A Dauphin, Manitoba, senior’s home day trip to a casino turned to devastation after their bus crashed with a semi-truck on the Trans-Canada Highway west of Winnipeg.
Officials say the crash happened in clear weather conditions at about noon.
Police say there were 15 people confirmed dead and 10 more were sent to hospital.

Nova Scotia is spending 3.2 million dollars to provide young people and their families easier access to mental health and addictions support.
Brian Comer, the minister responsible for the Office of Addictions and Mental Health, says eight new Integrated youth services sites will bring community-based services for youth aged 12 to 25 together under one roof.
Comer says the support will range from mental health services, such as counselling and peer support, to social services, such as housing and income assistance.
The first site is to open by March 31st, 2024, with all eight sites to open by March 31st, 2027.
The Monthly COVID-19 report for Nova Scotia shows there were 814 PCR positive cases, 77 hospitalizations, and 1 COVID-19 related death in the province during the month of May.
The number of PCR positive results, hospitalizations and deaths decreased in May compared to April.

The C-F-L has announced that tickets to the July 29th game between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Toronto Argonauts at Saint Mary’s University have sold out.
C-F-L commissioner Randy Ambrosie says a sellout for a second straight year shows the east coast has a big appetite for the game.
This year’s game will be just the second regular-season game of played in Nova Scotia.
