By the time the flurries stops flying, there will be about 25cm of the fresh snow to add to the snow banks around New Glasgow. The flurries and snow squalls are expected to diminish and end by this afternoon.
Public Works crews continue to clear snow from streets and sidewalks, and remind residents to be aware of where you park your vehicle, as cars parked on streets could interfere with snow removal and further delay the cleanup.
Once the snow melts and we can look ahead to the spring and summer, there will be some new public green spaces to enjoy.

The study exposed people to 12 scents in jars.
The scents included Vicks VapoRub, ground coffee, coconut oil, cumin powder, red wine, vanilla extract, clove bulbs, shoe polish, orange essential oil and ketchup.
The smells triggered vivid memories that made participants feel happy.
