Nominations have officially closed for Nova Scotia’s November 26th provincial election.
Elections Nova Scotia says a total of 191 candidates are running across the province’s 55 electoral districts.
The Tories, New Democrats and Liberals are officially fielding a full slate of 55 candidates, while the Green Party is running 23 candidates.
Three Independent candidates are also officially running in the election.
Early voting in the Nova Scotia provincial election begins today. Voters can cast their ballot with a secure e-ballot for the first time in a general election.
