Gasoline and diesel prices both decreased overnight in Nova Scotia. Gasoline prices decreased by 0.7 cents per litre. The minimum pump price for regular self-serve gasoline is now 156.8 cents per litre in the local area. Diesel prices went down by 1.4 cents per litre, meaning the minimum pump price for diesel is 173.1 cents per litre locally.

Party leader Zach Churchill is promising to spend 60-million dollars over four years to build 87 new cellphone towers — and he’s pledged to spend millions more on highway construction.
R-C-M-P in Nova Scotia will begin wearing body cameras this month as part of a national program.
Cameras will be issued to 600 Mounties in the province in a phased approach over the next six to eight months.
The R-C-M-P says body-worn cameras will help build trust between the police and community because the video collected provides an independent, unbiased and objective way to capture interactions between police and the public.
The cameras will be complemented by a digital evidence management system that will be used to store and manage video captured by the cameras.
