This comes as the Crown corporation said Monday the union’s latest proposals include increased demands in some cases, thus widening the gap between the two sides. One of the key issues in bargaining has been a push to expand Canada Post deliveries into the weekend as a way to boost competitiveness and increase revenue. Some 55-thousand postal workers have been on strike since November 15th.
