Today marks three weeks since two young children were reported missing in Lansdowne Station. Police have not said if they have found any evidence indicating the whereabouts of Lilly and Jack Sullivan. Six-year-old Lilly and her four-year-old brother Jack were reported missing from their home on Gairloch Road in Lansdowne Station on May 2nd at 10 a-m. An extensive multi-agency search was scaled back on May 7th. Last weekend, officers and search-and-rescue teams targeted specific areas in a renewed search around the road where the home is located. Police say that search is being reviewed and assessed by investigators and search managers to help in planning any further ground and air efforts.

It comes after an evening meeting between the two sides, which happened at the union’s request.
The union says the overtime ban will go into effect unless Canada Post agrees to a two-week “truce” that the corporation had previously rejected.

The season begins June 1st — and the Canadian Hurricane Centre in Halifax is expected to offer its outlook later today.
