World Juniors:

Team Canada beat the USA 4-1 last night at the World Junior Summer Showcase.
Montreal Canadiens prospect Cole Caufield scored a beautiful top shelf wrister in the 3rd period. That would be the US’s only goal of the night.
Team Canada takes on Finland today at 1pm.

CFL:

Week 8 kicks off tomorrow night in the CFL, Winnipeg takes on Toronto in the early game, Hamilton and Saskatchewan will roll the clock over in the late game.

MLB:

The Toronto Blue Jays managed one less hit than the Royals did last night. It’s a good thing they scored 7 more runs though, including 5 in the 9th inning to upend the Royals 9-2.
