Training caps began over the weekend at many QMJHL facilities across the league. The Mooseheads, Wildcats and Eagles were on the ice with vets and hopefuls looking to crack the main roster in October.

NBA:

The Boston Celtics handed the Raptors their first playoff loss of the year, defeating them 112-94 in game 1.

NHL:

The Dallas Stars are shining and have pushed the Avalanche to the brink of elimination with a 5-4 win yesterday. Dallas now leads the best of 7 series 3-1.
The Islanders also take a 3-1 series lead, they defeated the Flyers last night 3-2.
Canada’s only remaining team lost again last night. The Golden Knights defeated the Canucks 5-3 and now hold a 3-1 series lead.
