Softball:

The U-16 Softball Championships are this weekend at the Dorrington fields in Stellarton, good luck to all the teams but especially the Stellarton Stingers.

MLB:

It was a 9th inning grand slam home run by Bryce Harper that ruined the Cubs night. Bryce walked off the Cubs in the ninth inning propelled the Phillys to a 7-5 win over the Cubs.

CFL:

Week 10 kicked off with a big win for the home team, the Blue Bombers were lead by running back Andrew Harris who became the all-time Canadian in yards from scrimmage netting 70 last night for a grand total of 13,373. Blue Bombers win 32-16.

CANADA WS:

They may not be the Raptors but the entire Country is getting ready to cheer on a little league team from Coquitlam (KOE-QUIT-LEM) British Columbia.
They’re heading to the Little League World Series in Williamsport. This is the second time in 35 years a Canadian team is heading to the showdown. They’ll take on Mexico in the first game tonight at 7pm.
