In Pre-Season hockey, the Cape Breton Eagles defeated the Mooseheads 4-2.
The Charlottetown Islanders doubled up the Moncton Wildcats 4-2.

MHL:

Crushers hockey isn’t too far away either, yesterday they put the ice back in the Sobeys arena at the Wellness Center. Pictou County playes their first pre-season game in Summerside next Saturday. Their first home game is a pre-season tilt against Truro on Thursday September 5th.

MLB:

The Blue Jays were smoked last night by the 83 win dodgers who managed 8 runs in 2 innings for a 16-3 win.
