NBA:
The NBA and the players’ union have finalized an agreement to begin the 2020-21 season. The deal calls for free agency to begin Friday, Nov. 20, at 6 p.m. ET, two days after next week’s NBA draft. As was agreed to last week, the regular season will begin Dec. 22, and the schedule will be 72 games.
NHL:
The Dallas Stars have signed restricted free-agent forward Roope Hintz to a three-year contract with an average annual value of $3.15 million, the team announced on Monday.
The Winnipeg Jets signed 2020 first-round pick Cole Perfetti to a three-year, entry-level contract on Monday.
NFL:
The New England Patriots defeated the Jets 30-27 last night.
