MHL:
Rough night last night for the Weeks JR A Crushers, they saw their playoff hopes dashed by the South Shore Lumberjacks last night 7-4. Sam Meisenheimer with a pair of goals in the loss.
The Crushers do have one game left in the regular season, they will travel to South Shore tonight for a meaningless final game of the season.
In other MHL news, The Summerside Western Capitals completed a comeback last night to defeat Miramichi 4-3.
NSJHL:
The Pictou County JR B Scotians were also eliminated from playoff contention last night, the Jr Miners eliminated the Scotians in 5 games, winning the final game last night 7-5.

High School:
Good luck to NNEC’s girl’s hockey team as they host the provincial championships this weekend.
NNEC plays Friday @ 11:30am and 9:00pm, and Saturday @ 1:30pm. Come out to Thorburn Rink and cheer them on!
AUS:
The St. Thomas Tommies are AUS Women’s hockey champions! They defeated the X-Women last night 2-1 to take the best of 3 final series 2 games to 1.
QMJHL:
One game in the Quebec League last night. The Titan beat the Seadogs 3-1.
NHL:
A bunch of games last night,
The Bruins one upped the Panthers 4-3.
The Penguins blanked the Blue Jackets 3-0.
The Islanders doubled the Sens 4-2.
The Red Wings squeaked by the Rangers in a shootout 3-2.
The Wild shut the door on the high powered Lightning 3-0. (Congratulations to Minnesota Wild forward Jason Zucker on picking up his second career hat-trick!)
The Blackhawks beat the Sabres in a skills competition 5-4.
The Stars shut out the Avalanche 4-0. (Congratulations to Dallas Stars forward Alexander Radulov on picking up his first career hat-trick!)
The Oilers beat the Canucks 3-2.
The Yotes extinguished the Flames 2-0.
The Blues zeroed the Kings 4-0.
The Sharks beat the Habs 5-2.
