Maritime Hockey League:

The South Shore Lumberjacks fought off elimination last night and has extended their series against the Amherst Ramblers to a 7th game. Nic Tardif scores 2 goals and added an assist to help the Jacks tie the series. Game 7 is this Wednesday in Amherst.

PCMHL:

Big congratulations to Daniel Thompson of the Pictou County Minor Hockey Association who is the recipient of the Bernie Lawlor Coach of the Month Award for February. Daniel Thompson is the head coach of the Pictou County Minor Hockey Association’s Midget C Royals.

AUS:

Congratulations to former StFX goaltender Chase Marchand, he signed a professional ECHL contract with the Indy Fuel yesterday. Marchand is the cousin of Brad Marchand. Chase went 16-5 with a 0.924 save % this year with StFX. Marchand has attended Chicago Blackhawks development camp in the past.
