Maritime Hockey League:
Last night was a thriller in Amherst and the South Shore Lumberjacks came out on top in double overtime. Mitchell Arseneau scored the winner with less than 2 minutes to go in the second OT period.
The Lumberjacks will now face off against the Yarmouth Mariners for the Eastlink South title.
In the Eastlink North division the Campbellton Tigres will battle the Summerside Capitals, that series begins on Saturday.

The Moncton Wildcats beat Baie-Comeau 3-2, to even things up at 2 games a piece.
The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles picked up a huge 6-2 win over Charlottetown to tie their series at 2-2.
Shawinnigan won another game against Ryoun Noranda 4-3 and tie that series at 2-2.
The Sherbrooke Phoenix embarrassed the Armada 6-2 to take a 3-1 series lead.
Val Dor has tied the series against Victoriaville after winning 5-3.
The Olympic staved off elimination beating Drummondville 4-2.
Rimouski doubled Chicoutimi 6-3 and swept that series in 4 games.
