Gasoline and diesel prices went in opposite directions overnight.
The price of gasoline increased by 2.4 cents per litre, putting the minimum pump price for regular self-serve gas at 150.1 cents per litre locally.
The price of diesel decreased by 1.4 cents per litre, putting the minimum pump price for diesel in the local area at 165.3 cents per litre.

The provincial budget includes a 750-million dollar increase in health care spending to 6.5-billion dollars.

A 15-year-old charged in the stabbing of two staff members at a Halifax-area high school remains in custody following a bail hearing Thursday.
The teen opted for remand during a brief appearance in Nova Scotia Youth Court by video link.
He is facing 11 charges, including two counts of attempted murder, in the stabbings at C.P. Allen High School in Bedford and his next court appearance has been set for April 13th.
The school principal says the two staff members who were stabbed on Monday were discharged from the hospital Wednesday.
Nova Scotia is reporting 12 new deaths related to COVID-19 in its latest weekly update.
Since the outset of the pandemic the province had recorded 819 deaths related to the virus.
There are also 394 new lab-confirmed cases for a daily average of 56.
The province’s health authority says as of yesterday, 123 people are in hospital with the virus, down from 138 patients in the previous reporting period.
