Gasoline prices and diesel prices both went up slightly overnight in Nova Scotia.
Gasoline prices rose by 1.7 cents per litre.
The minimum pump price for regular self serve gasoline is 150.7 cents per litre locally.
Diesel prices increased by 1.8 cents per litre, putting the minimum pump price for diesel at 138.9 cents per litre in the local area
Colchester County District RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating 44-year-old Christopher Gordon Kane.
Kane was last seen on Wednesday at approximately 1 p.m. walking alongside Hwy 2 toward Masstown Market in Masstown.
Kane is described as a white man, 5’ 8” tall, approximately 185lbs with short brown hair and moustache.
He has hazel eyes.
Kane was last seen wearing a black vest over a Blue Jays hoodie, and black jeans with blue sneakers.

The Nova Scotia government has announced more mental-health resources for people who live in the three counties most affected by the mass shooting in April 2020.
Brian Comer, the minister responsible for the office of addictions and mental health, issued a statement saying residents of Colchester, Cumberland and Hants counties will benefit from a 20-thousand-dollar investment in community transportation to help get people to and from health services, including mobile clinics.
As well, the government is providing an additional 64-thousand dollars to eight community health boards — which work closely with communities — to understand their health-and-wellness challenges.
And 190-thousand dollars will be handed to the Canadian Mental Health Association to expand the mental-health services it offers in Colchester and East Hants.
Nova Scotia has released doctor recruitment numbers indicating 168 physicians began work in the province between April 1st of last year and March 31st of this year.
Nova Scotia Health hired 155 doctors and I-W-K Health hired 13 doctors during the last year for a net gain of 86 physicians.
Of the doctors recruited last year, 78 are family doctors and 90 work in other specialties.
The province says 82 physicians left the health system last year and efforts are continuing to fill 169 doctor vacancies, which include 73 specialty and 96 family medicine doctors.

Houston is to visit the United Kingdom, Denmark and France from May 20th to 28th.
In the U-K, the premier is to promote health career opportunities in the province to health professionals and medical students.
Houston will continue health care efforts in Denmark and is to meet with Michelin Tire executives in France to discuss the company’s recently announced expansion plans in Nova Scotia.
